Well.....If words like “avocado ” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now." Don’t–click away!
Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.
So onto the recipe...
First things first
1/3 cup flour
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3 whole eggs
3 pounds walleye fillets ( can also use perch or pike fillets)
2 cups mashed potato flakes( I used white cheddar flavored ones)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
Second things steps...
- In a shallow bowl, combine flour, paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. In another bowl, beat the eggs. Dip both sides of fillets in flour mixture and eggs, then coat with potato flakes.
- In a large skillet, fry fillets in oil for 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with tartar sauce and lemon if desired. Yield: 4 servings.
Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures or recipes from other sites if I did not create the recipe or take a picture and I apologize...
The above picture came from tasteofhome and the recipe came from me
Enjoy !!
