So onto the recipe...

First things first

3 packages refrigerated biscuits

1 stick  butter, room temperature

1/2 cup cinnamon sugar

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup cinnamon

1 gallon ziplock bag

Second things steps..

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ F and grease a pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Open your biscuit packages and cut each biscuit on cutting board ( I cut each one into 4 squares)
  3. Combine cinnamon sugar and dough in plastic bag, then seal it and shake to mix the two.(let the kids help)
  4. Once your dough is evenly sugared, transfer pieces to greased pan.
  5. In a microwaveable bowl, melt butter and brown sugar together for 30 seconds.
  6. Stir sugar into mixture until dark brown, then pour over the dough in your pan. Squish pieces down into the butter mixture so they’re all coated.
  7. Place pan on a baking tray, then bake for 35 minutes, or until dough is cooked through to your liking.
  8. Remove from oven and invert onto a serving plate.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
( I used a loaf pan and it worked just fine)

Crock pot cinnamon cashews

I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????

Well.....If words like “ crockpot cashews” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now." Don’t–click away!

So onto the recipe...

First things first
2 cup brown sugar
5 tbsp cinnamon sugar
3 tbsp cinnamon
2 cups sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups cashews
1/4 cup water
( I sprinkled cinnamon sugar on top after cooking and before chilling)

                                                                                                       Second things steps..

Spray crock pot with non stick spray. Add in 1/2 cup sugar and cashews then stir. Mix in brown sugar, cinnamon sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, salt and 1/8 cup water in crock pot.
Cook on low 4 hours while stirring every 30 minutes.
Stir in 1/4 cup water and let cook 45 mins to achieve crunch.
Remove and drain very well from crock pot. Set on  parchment paper to cool.
Once cool wrap in parchment and chill overnight.

(Note; After fridge I found that these were really sticky so I rolled them in cinnamon sugar to combat it and it worked great and gave it a great crunch)
