Cranberry Bars From The Makers Of Ocean Spray

I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????





Well.....If words like “Bars” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now." Don’t–click away!




Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.





So onto the recipe...

 
First things first



Ingredients:



2 whole eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/3 cup butter
1 1/4 cup cranberry juice



















Second things steps...

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch baking pan.

Beat eggs in a medium mixing bowl until thick. Gradually add sugar, beating until thoroughly blended. Stir in flour and melted butter; blend well. Add cranberries mixing gently just until combined. Spread evenly in pan.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool and cut into bars.

Makes 16 servings.

Cookies & Cream Bars

First things first



Ingredients:



1 cup crushed oreos
3 tbsp buter
2 cups crushed oreos
8 ounce cool whip



















Second things steps...

COMBINE cookie crumbs and butter. Press firmly onto bottom of foil-lined 8-inch square pan.

ADD chopped cookies to whipped topping; stir gently until well blended. Spread over crust.

FREEZE 4 hours or until firm. Cut into 16 squares to serve. Store leftover squares in freezer.

Coconut Honey Bars

First things first



Ingredients:



1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups quick cook oats
1 1/3 cups coconut flakes
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup peanut butter chips

















Second things steps...

Heat oven to 400°F. Grease 8-inch square baking pan. Melt butter in large saucepan; remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar, honey and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients; stir until blended. Press mixture into prepared pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. About 24 bars.

Coconut Cream Bars

First things first



Ingredients:



2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 whole eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup quick cook oats
4 ounce pkg coconut cream pudding

Frosting Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp milk
1/2 cup shredded toasted coconut















Second things steps...

Heat oven to 350°F. Combine brown sugar and 1/2 cup butter in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Reduce speed to low; add flour, oats and pudding mix. Beat until well mixed.

Spread mixture into buttered 8-inch square baking pan. Bake for 23 to 27 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.

Combine powdered sugar and 3 tablespoons butter in small bowl. Beat at medium speed until well mixed. Add enough milk for desired spreading consistency. Spread frosting over cooled bars; sprinkle with coconut.

Cinnamon Coffee Bars

First things first



Ingredients:



1/3 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 whole egg
1/3 cup hot coffee
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips

Glaze Ingredients:

3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
3 tsp milk













Second things steps...

    In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Add egg; beat well. Beat in coffee. Combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
    Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Spread into a well-greased 8-in. square baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
    In a small bowl, combine the confectioners' sugar, vanilla and enough milk to achieve a glaze consistency. Drizzle over warm bars. Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting.

Chocolate Vanilla Bars

So onto the recipe...

 
First things first



Ingredients:



1 pkg double chocolate chunk cookie mix
1 cup crushed graham crackers
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 cup butter
1 whole egg

Filling Ingredients:

4 cups powdered sugar
4 tbsp instant vanilla pudding
1/3 cup butter
1/4 cup milk

Topping Ingredients:

12 ounce pkg chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter












Second things steps...

Heat oven to 350°F.
Line bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with foil, leaving foil overhanging at 2 opposite sides of pan. In large bowl, stir cookie base ingredients until well mixed. Spread into pan; press lightly. Bake 16 to 18 minutes or until set. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
 In another large bowl, stir together powdered sugar and pudding mix. Add 1/3 cup butter and the milk; beat with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth (filling will be very thick). Spoon over cookie base; press evenly to cover. Refrigerate while making topping.
 In small microwaveable bowl, microwave topping ingredients uncovered on High 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth. Spread over filling. Refrigerate uncovered until set, about 30 minutes.
 Use foil to lift bars from pan; pull foil from sides of bars. Cut into 9 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.
