Alcohol Free Lime & Tonic Drink
I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????
Well.....If words like “tonic” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away
Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.
With the splash of lime, the Lime & Tonic is an easy-to-make, refreshing sipper for really hot days. Where the Gin & Tonic
relies on the flavor of gin to make the drink, this version is
very clean and almost flavorless except for the lime.
So onto the recipe.....
First things first
Ingredients:
1. 2 tablespoons lime juice
2. 1 cup tonic water
3. 2 tablespoons sparkling lime water
4. 1 whole lime cut into rings
5. 4-5 whole ice cubes
Second things steps...
1. Place ice cubes in a tall glass.
2. Add 2 teaspoons lime juice.
3. Pour 1 cup chilled tonic water down side of glass.
4. Add in sparkling lime water
5. Stir gently with an up-and-down motion to mix.
6. Slice lime into round slices
7. Slice one slice in half to create wedge look
8. Place 1 or 2 slices in glass and top with wedge on side of glass
Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures from other sites if I did not take one and
I apologize...The above picture came from www.kitchenriffs.com
Enjoy !!
