Smoked Salmon With Baked Eggs

Smoked Salmon With Baked Eggs

I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????

Well.....If words like “aioli” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away

Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.

So onto the recipe.....

First things first
 Ingredients:
1. 1 cup butter

2. 1 tablespoon black pepper
3. 2 whole eggs
4. 1 teaspoon heavy cream
5. 2 tablespoons smoked salmon sliced thin
6. 1/2 teaspoon capers
7. 1 teaspoon dill
8. 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

Second things steps...
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Butter the inside of a 3/4-cup ramekin or custard cup lightly sprinkle surface with salt and pepper.
3. Crack both eggs into ramekin, careful not to break the yolks.
4. Drizzle with heavy cream and season with additional pepper.
5. Bake in oven 12 minutes for slightly soft centers, or 13-14 minutes for firmer yolks.

6. Remove from oven and let stand 2 minutes (the egg will continue to cook as it stands).
7.  Top with salmon, red onion, capers, dill and lemon zest.
8. Place ramekin on a serving plate and serve warm.

Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures from other sites if I did not take one and I apologize...The above picture came from www.123rf.com

Enjoy !!

Love,
