Crock Pot Kandi Kiolbasa's Minestone
I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????
Well.....If words like “kiolbasa soup” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away
Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.
So onto the recipe.....
First things first
Ingredients:
1. 2 whole carrots diced
2. 2 whole celery stalks diced
3. 2 tablespoons garlic powder
4. 4 cups chicken broth( I've also used vegetable broth)
5. 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
6. 1 teaspoon salt
7. 1 teaspoon black pepper
8. 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
9. 1 cup small pasta shells uncooked
10. 1 can diced and peeled potatoes
Second things steps...
1. Combine carrots, celery, and garlic in slow cooker.
2. Pour in broth and stir in tomatoes, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper and Italian seasoning.
3. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
4. Thirty minutes before serving, stir in pasta,
5. Cover, increase heat to high and cook until pasta is tender, about 30 minutes.
6. Season with salt and pepper and stir in potatoes until warm
7. Serve hot, sprinkled with Parmesan, if desired
Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures from other sites if I did not take one and I apologize...The above picture came from me I took it !!
Enjoy !!
Love,
Kiolbasa Style
