I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????
Well.....If words like “crock pot” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away
Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.
So onto the recipe.....
First things first
Ingredients:
1. 2 1.4 pounds boneless chicken thighs
2. 2 whole carrots sliced
3. 1 cup apple juice
4. 1 whole garlic clove minced
5. 1 teaspoon salt
6. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
7. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
8. 1 cup dried apricots
9. 1 batch cooked couscous
Second things steps...
1. Place the chicken, and carrots in a 3- or 4-qt. slow cooker coated with cooking spray.
2. In a small bowl, combine the apple juice, garlic, salt, cinnamon and pepper; pour over vegetables.
3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is tender.
4. Remove chicken from slow cooker; shred meat with two forks.
5. Skim fat from cooking juices; stir in apricots.
6. Return shredded chicken to slow cooker; heat though
7. Serve with couscous.
Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures from other sites if I did not take one and I apologize...The above picture came from me I took it !!!
