Avocado Fries
I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????
Well.....If words like “avocado fries” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away
Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.
So onto the recipe.....
First things first
Ingredients:
1. 1/4 cup flour
2. 1/8 teaspoon salt
3. 2 whole eggs
4. 1 1/4 cup bread crumbs
5. 2 whole avocados cut into strips
Second things steps...
1. Pour oil to depth of 1 1/2 inches in a medium saucepan or Dutch oven.
2. Heat to 375° over medium-high heat.
3. Meanwhile, combine flour and salt in a shallow plate.
4. Put eggs and crumbs in separate shallow plates.
5. Dip avocado wedges in flour, shaking off excess.
6. Dip in egg, and then dredge in crumbs to coat.
7. Fry avocado wedges, in batches, 30 to 60 seconds or until golden brown
8. Drain on paper towels.
9. Place on a baking sheet in a 200° oven to keep warm while frying remaining wedges.
10. Sprinkle with additional salt to taste.
