Alcohol Free Margarita

Alcohol Free Margarita

I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????

Well.....If words like “margarita” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away

Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.

The margarita is a Mexican cocktail consisting of tequila mixed with Cointreau or similar orange-flavoured liqueur and lime or lemon juice, often served with salt on the glass rim.

Taking the alcohol out of the margarita makes the drink refreshing and fun

The drink is served shaken with ice, on the rocks, blended with ice (frozen margarita) or without ice.

So onto the recipe.....

First things first
 Ingredients:
1. 1 whole lime cut into wedges

2. 1 tablespoon sugar
3. 6 ounce can of frozen limeade
4. 3/4 cup orange juice pulp free
5. 2/3 cup grapfruit juice sweetened
6. 4 cups ice cubes crushed
7. 1 tablespoon green food color (makes it pretty)

Second things steps...
1. If desired, rub rims of margarita glasses with lime wedge;

2. dip rims of glass into a shallow dish of coarse salt or sugar and shake off excess.
3.Set aside
4. In a blender, combine limeade concentrate, orange juice, and grapefruit juice.
5. Cover and blend until smooth.
6. With the blender running, gradually add ice cubes through the hole in the lid,
7. Blending mix until slushy.
8. If desired, tint with a few drops of green food coloring.
9.Pour into margarita glasses.
10. If desired, garnish with citrus slices.

Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures from other sites if I did not take one and

I apologize...The above picture came from http://margaritatime.biz

Enjoy !!
