Blueberry Banana Bread

Blueberry Banana Bread

I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????

Well.....If words like “berry bread” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away

Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.

So onto the recipe.....

First things first
 Ingredients:

1. 1 1/4 cups sugar
2. 1/2 cup butter
3. 2 whole eggs
4. 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
5. 1/2 cup buttermilk
6. 2 1/2 cups flour
7. 1 teaspoon baking soda
8. 1 cup fresh blueberries

Second things steps...
1. Heat oven to 350°F.
2. Grease bottom only of one 9x5-inch or two 8x4-inch loaf pans with shortening.
3. In large bowl, stir sugar, butter, eggs, bananas and buttermilk until mixed.
4. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt just until moistened.
5. Stir in blueberries.
6.  Pour into pan.
7. Bake 9-inch pan about 1 hour 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 8. Cool 5 minutes.
9. Loosen sides of loaf from pan; remove from pan to wire rack.
10. Cool completely, about 2 hours, before slicing.
11. Wrap tightly and store at room temperature up to 4 days, or refrigerate up to 10 days.

Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures from other sites if I did not take one and I apologize...The above picture came from www.bargainbriana.com

Enjoy !!

Love,
