Crock Pot Basic Pot Roast
I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????
Well.....If words like “crock pot” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away
Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.
So onto the recipe.....
First things first
Ingredients:
1. 3 pounds top round roast
2. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3. 1 package beef stew seasoning
4. 1/2 cup tabasco sauce ( dont worry its not spicy)
5. 14 ounce can beef broth
Second things steps...
1. Heat oil in pressure cooker bottom over medium high heat.
2. Brown chuck roast on both sides.
3. Mix beef stew seasoning in water and add to meat.
4. Add beef broth.
5. Secure lid and reduce heat when pressure regulator starts to rock.
6. Cook for 1 1/2 hours.
While you can’t do potatoes or vegetables with this method, I reduce some of the liquid after cooking, thicken for gravy and serve with mashed potatoes.
Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures from other sites if I did not take one and I apologize...The above picture came from www.userealbutter.com
Enjoy !!
Love,
Kiolbasa Style
