Hawaiian Banana Bread
I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????
Well.....If words like “hawaiian banana” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away
Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.
So onto the recipe.....
First things first
Ingredients:
1. 1 1/4 cup sugar
2. 1/2 cup butter
3. 2 whole eggs
4. 2 cups mashed bananas
5. 1/2 cup buttermilk
6. 1 teaspoon vanilla
7. 2 1/2 cups flour
8. 1 teaspoon baking soda
9. 1 teaspoon salt
10. 1 jar macadamia nuts
11. 1/2 cup coconut shredded
Second things steps...
1. Move oven rack to lowest position.
2. Heat oven to 350°F .
3. Grease bottoms only of 2 loaf pans, 8 1/2x4 1/2x2 1/2 inches, or 1 loaf pan, 9x5x3 inches.
4. Stir together sugar and butter in large bowl.
5. Stir in eggs until well blended.
6. Add bananas, buttermilk and vanilla.
7. Beat with wire whisk until smooth.
8. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt just until moistened.
9. Stir in nuts and coconut.
10. Pour into pans.
11. Bake 8-inch loaves about 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
12. Cool 10 minutes.
13. Loosen sides of loaves from pans; remove from pans and place top side up on wire rack.
14. Cool completely, about 2 hours, before slicing.
15. Wrap tightly and store at room temperature up to 4 days, or refrigerate up to 10 days.
To Bake Mini-Loaves:
Grease bottoms only of miniature loaf pans, Divide batter among pans, Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
