Apple Chips
I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????
Well.....If words like “apple chips” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away
Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.
So onto the recipe.....
First things first
Ingredients:
1. 1 batch fresh apples
2. 1 package of unflavored gelatin
3. 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Second things steps...
1. Slice apples in uniformly thin slices (1/8 of an inch or less)
2. Place on a parchment or silicone baking mat lined baking sheet in an even layer.
3. Slices can touch each other, but try not to overlap.
4. Fit as many apples on a sheet as you can (they shrink a lot!)
5. Sprinkle with dry gelatin (ignore instructions on box and just sprinkle the dry powder).
6. Bake apples at 170 for 6-8 hours, until dry and curled up around edges.
7. Turn off oven and leave door shut until completely cooled.
8. Remove apples from baking sheet and store in an airtight container
Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures from other sites if I did not take one and I apologize...The above picture came from http://blog.letop-usa.com
Enjoy !!
Love,
Kiolbasa Style
