Roasted Asparagus

Roasted Asparagus

I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????

Well.....If words like “asparagus” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away

Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.

So onto the recipe.....

First things first
 Ingredients:
1. 2 pounds asparagus trimmed and cut

2. 2 tablespoons olive oil
3. 1 teaspoon black pepper
4. 1/8 teaspoon salt
5. 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Second things steps...
1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil.
2. Break off tough ends of asparagus.
3. Place asparagus on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil
4. In a small bowl, rub 1 tsp. salt with lemon zest until crumbly.
5. Sprinkle over asparagus and toss to coat.
6. Arrange asparagus in a single layer and roast until tender, 18 to 25 minutes
7. Season asparagus with pepper and sprinkle with lemon juice just before serving.

Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures from other sites if I did not take one and I apologize...The above picture came from www.monstersnap.com

Enjoy !!

Love,
