Crock Pot Apple Butter

Crock Pot Apple Butter

I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????

Well.....If words like “apple butter” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away

Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.

So onto the recipe.....

First things first
 Ingredients:
1. 6 whole apples

2. 3 cups sugar
3. 2 tablespoons cinnamon
4. 1 teaspoon allspice
5. 1/2 teaspoon cloves
6. 1 teaspoon nutmeg
7. 1 dash salt
8. 3/4 cup water

Second things steps...
1. Peel, core and slicing your apples, fill your crockpot until it’s 3/4 full.

2. Add all the rest of your ingredients and stir until well blended.
3. Cover and cook on LOW overnight.
4.  I cooked mine for about 24 hours, taking the lid off for the last few hours to help thicken.
5. Store in the refrigerator up to 6 weeks, or freeze for longer storage.

** Note.. This is a messy recipe your crock pot will need too soak**

Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures from other sites if I did not take one and I apologize...The above picture came from www.ourbestbites.com

Enjoy !!

Love,
