Applesauce Pink

Applesauce Pink

I can hear you already going what on earth is that?????

Well.....If words like “pink applesauce” make you think, “Ew, weird, clicking away now,” don’t–click away

Avoiding things that sound weird will keep you from enjoying things that taste amazing.

So onto the recipe.....

First things first
 Ingredients:
1. 3 pounds red apples peeled and chopped

2. 2 tablespoons lemon juice
3. 1 teaspoon pink food coloring

Second things steps...
1. In a medium saucepan, combine apples and lemon juice.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until apples are soft and beginning to burst
3. Mix in food coloring
4.. Pass through a food mill fitted with the medium disk.
5 Use immediately, or store, refrigerated, in a covered container for up to 1 week.

Now simple disclosure I will on occasion borrow pictures from other sites if I did not take one and
 I apologize...The above picture came from www.sophistimom.com

Enjoy !!

Love,
 Kiolbasa Style
